Christians often look toward novels to better understand what
faith involves and what it means to live it. Darren Middleton
surveys selected historical fiction featuring notable Christian
theologians as protagonists. Participants will discover why
Johnny Cash rewrote the Apostle Paul’s story, for example, and
they will discover what today’s Christians might learn from the
“narrative theology” that pulsates at the heart of this and other
related fictions about the Great Christian Thinkers.
