The Archaeology of Jerusalem
10/13/2026 - 10/27/2026

Join Dr. Deirdre Fulton in unearthing the layers of the world’s most
contested city in this three-session exploration of Jerusalem’s
archaeological landscape. Discussion will begin in the City of
David, examining the Iron Age foundations and the water systems
of the Judean kings. Next, navigate the monumental architecture
of the Second Temple period, from Herod’s massive walls to the
streets walked by the Roman citizens. Finally, Byzantine and
Islamic transformations that shaped the iconic skyline we see
today will be investigated. Join Dr. Fulton to discover how shovels
and trowels continue to rewrite the narrative of this eternal city.
